Jambi Provincial Government Fires 3 ASN Related To Corruption Cases And 28 Mangkir Work Day

JAKARTA - The Jambi Provincial Government (Pemprov) has dismissed three problematic State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who stumbled on corruption cases and were involved in disciplinary violations throughout 2025.

"For the time between January and September 2025, we have stopped three civil servants according to the decision of the state staffing agency," said Head of Administrative and Award Performance Assessment (PKAP) of the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) Jambi Province, Hariyanto in Jambi, Friday, confiscated by Antara.

He said the three employees who were fired were two people who were declared to have violated severe discipline because they did not come to work for 28 days and one was involved in a corruption case.

In the same year, the Jambi Provincial Government has sentenced three ASNs to lower-level demotion after being found guilty of violating the neutrality of civil servants during the 2024 Pilkada.

In addition, said Hariyanto, the Jambi Province BKD has now taken action in the form of a temporary dismissal of five civil servants due to legal problems.

He detailed the problems facing the five civil servants in the form of alleged criminal acts of misappropriation of state finances at the One-Stop Administration System (Samsat) office, distribution of school operational assistance funds and fraud cases.

"After having permanent legal force (inkrah), the Jambi Provincial Government will submit the decision to BKN as a consideration for their employment status. Meanwhile, they still get a salary of 50 requirements," he said.

Hariyanto emphasized that the Jambi Provincial Government always fosters employee discipline, minimizes violations.

This is reinforced by Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 28 of 2012 and Governor Regulation Number 4 of 2019 concerning Guidelines and Technical Guidelines for the Development of ASN Discipline, including Jambi Governor Regulation Number 19 of 2021 concerning ASN Code of Ethics.

He hopes that all these regulations can become signs that employees must follow while working and outside service hours for 12,671 civil servants and government employees with work agreements.
