CIREBON - Vice President (Vice President) of the Republic of Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming Raka visited Jagasatru Main Market, Cirebon City, West Java, to ensure price stability and food supply towards the end of the year.

During the visit, Vice President Gibran took the time to tour the market, chat directly with a number of traders, and monitor the prices of basic necessities such as rice and onions.
He even bought 2 kilograms of tauge and garlic as a form of support for traditional traders.
"Traders really appreciate the visit of the Vice President because he cares about the condition of traders and the supply of basic needs of the community," said Iing.
Iing said, in general, the price of basic commodities in Cirebon City is still stable, although there has been a slight increase in several commodities such as chicken meat which now reaches Rp. 36,000 per kilogram.
Vice President Gibran advised local governments to maintain price stability and ensure the availability of food supplies. He also appealed to the public to shop wisely and not to make excessive purchases.
"The vice president said that price fluctuations in the market are normal. But overall, prices in Cirebon are still under control," said Iing.
