JAKARTA - Pertamina's gas cylinder explosion occurred again in residential areas of Jalan Pademangan 2A, RT 02/06, East Pademangan Village, Pademangan District, North Jakarta, Thursday, October 23, 2025.

As a result of the explosion, 3 residents suffered burns. They named Nurhayati (36) a woman suffered burns and her head was injured, Puji (35) a woman suffered burns and Mbok (46) a woman suffered burns.

The three victims suffered burns 30 percent and were taken to the Pademangan Hospital. In addition, one resident's house also had a fire.

Residents had carried out independent extinguishing using buckets filled with water but to no avail. Then report to the North Jakarta Damkar.

A total of 7 fire engines were deployed to the fire site. 34 personnel have been struggling to extinguish the fire since around 11.00 WIB.

The fire was extinguished at 11.33 WIB. Meanwhile, the area burned was about 12 square meters.

"The alleged cause of the gas leak," said the firefighter in his statement, Thursday, October 23, 2025.

The fire started when it was discovered that a neighbor of the victim heard the sound of an explosion. In addition to the sound of the explosion, the witness also heard screams from the house next to him.

After the witness checked, he saw that a resident had left the house in a condition of injury.

"The witness saw that 3 victims had left the house injured in the explosion," he said.

Currently, the fire has been extinguished by officers. Meanwhile, the three victims were taken to the Pademangan Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the fire case was investigated by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pademangan Police.
