MEULABOH - Officers from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of West Aceh Regency caught a python about two meters long entering a resident's house in Seuneubok Village, Johan Pahlawan District.

"Alhamdulillah, with the work of my friends, we have arrested a python about two meters long and moved it from a community home," said West Aceh BPBD Head Teuku Ronal Nehdiansyah in Meulaboh, Antara, Wednesday, October 22.

Ronal explained that the snake was caught after his party received a report from residents on Tuesday night, informing him of a large snake entering the house on Jalan Generasi, Seuneubok Village.

Receiving the report, West Aceh BPBD officers immediately went to the location and monitored. It didn't take long for the python to be found and secured by the team.

"We have moved the python to a location far from residential areas," said Ronal.

He appealed to the public not to hesitate to contact BPBD if they face an emergency situation, including an incident that endangers safety. "This is a form of concern from the West Aceh Regency Government for people who need help, not only in disasters, but also in other emergency situations," he said.
