One Year Of Prabowo's Performance, PKB Supports President To Implement Article 33's Mandate

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) faction of the DPR RI, Jazilul Fawaid congratulated President Prabowo Subianto, who is 74 years old today. Prabowo's anniversary also coincides with one year of government performance on October 20.

Jazilul ensured that the PKB faction in the DPR would continue to support the Prabowo government, and oversee the commitment of the General Chairperson of Gerindra to implement the mandate of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution. Among them are eradicating mines that damage the environment, carrying out agrarian reforms, and various other populist programs.

"Hopefully President Prabowo will continue to be given fitness and health to work for the people. The President is always healthy and remains enthusiastic about working for the people. The PKB faction will always be with President Prabowo's government to work for the people," Jazilul told reporters, Friday, October 17.

"We'll see that there are many programs for the people that President Prabowo has rolled out. One of them is President Prabowo's commitment in carrying out the mandate of Article 33 which is the spirit of the national economy," continued the PKB Deputy.

The legislator from the East Java electoral district then explained the important points in Article 33, first, the economy was prepared as a joint effort based on the principle of kinship. Second, production branches are important for the state and those that control the lives of many people are controlled by the state.

"Furthermore, the earth and water and natural wealth contained therein are controlled by the state and used for the greatest prosperity of the people. Then the national economy is held based on economic democracy with the principles of togetherness, efficiency with justice, sustainability, environmental insight, independence, and by maintaining a balance of progress and national economic unity," explained Jazilul.

The fifth point, he continued, is that further provisions regarding the implementation of this article are regulated in the law. "Well, the commitment to implement Article 33 is very important to realize the welfare of the people," he said.

Jazilul also highlighted President Prabowo's performance in the international arena. Although not even a year has been done, he said, Prabowo is actively conducting international visits from Southeast Asia to the Middle East.

"Prabowo continues to show Indonesia's efforts to build stronger Islamic diplomatic networks," said the former deputy chairman of the MPR.

Then at the UN General Assembly Session, September 2025, added Jazilul, President Prabowo appeared with a speech condemning the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza and calling for the collective responsibility of the world community to bring fair peace. According to him, various national and international flights show President Prabowo's seriousness in working.

"Almost a year of President Prabowo's administration, we saw a surge in diplomacy that President Prabowo was actively doing on the international stage. This shows that Indonesia is being taken into account in the international arena," concluded Jazilul.
