JAKARTA - The police are still investigating the alleged stabbing of an online (online/ojol) motorcycle taxi driver by an unknown person on Jalan Radio III, Kramat Pela, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on Monday, October 13, at around 10.00 WIB.

"The victim is still in the hospital, he cannot be questioned. Because his statement is only limited to being stabbed by a person and he says he doesn't know it," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kebayoran Baru Police, Kompol Suparmin, ANTARA, Friday, October 17.

Suparmin said the victim is still being treated at the Muhammadiyah Hospital, Taman Puring and cannot be questioned.

He explained that officers had checked the scene and checked the CCTV footage around the crime scene (TKP).

However, until now the police have not found the footage that recorded the stabbing.

"CCTV is not there. The victim was found in a falling condition and after checking, the location was found to be different from the stabbing site," he said.

Furthermore, the police are still investigating the motive for the stabbing, because none of the victim's belongings were missing.

"No items were taken. So, not robbery. The victim also said there were no enemies or disputes," he said.

Until now, the police are still waiting for the victim's condition to stabilize before conducting further investigations.
