Still Considering The Odd Case Of Diplomat Arya Daru, The Family Proposes A Special Case To The Criminal Investigation Department

JAKARTA - Family lawyer Arya Daru Pangayunan (ADP) submitted a request for a special case for the death of the young diplomat to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

"We submitted a letter to the Criminal Investigation Unit to submit a transfer of investigation plus a special case title," said member of the family lawyer team Arya Daru Pangayunan, Mira Widyawati, at the Police Criminal Investigation Building, Jakarta, Thursday, confiscated by Antara.

In addition to submitting a request for a special case title, Mira said that her party also asked about the progress of the letter they submitted containing a request for assistance in disclosing the mystery of Arya Daru's death to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

"Earlier the answer (from the Wasidik Bureau) was being made a Notification on the Development of Dumas Handling (SP3D) and progress reports," he said.

He said that these efforts were made by a team of attorneys so that the mystery of the death of the Diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) could be clearly revealed.

Arya Daru's family, he said, believed that the death of the deceased was not due to suicide.

Our legal team wants to follow up or reopen this case as clearly as possible because this is a state of law. The state of law is not a state of law mafia. This means that we still have to dismantle what is behind this because we all know that the death of the late ADP has many mysteries and irregularities, "said Mira.

Previously, the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police stated that it was related to the Arya Daru death case handled by the Polda Metro Jaya.

"We are only an assistance to the Metro Police because the Metro Police have carried out investigation and investigation efforts," said the Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Pol. Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro.

It is known that Arya Daru Pangayunan (ADP) was found dead with his head wrapped in duct tape at the house of Kost Guest House Gondia room 105, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil Number 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, on July 8, 2024 at around 08.10 WIB.

The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police concluded that Arya Daru's death was without the involvement of others. The conclusion is based on the results of an investigation conducted by investigators involving several experts.
