South Jakarta City Government Issues SP 2 To Barito Market Traders, Gives Relocation Time 7 Days

The South Jakarta City Government has again brought a warning letter (SP) to the peliharaan Barito Animal Market trader, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

Head of the Legal Section of the South Jakarta Administrative City, Dedi Rohedi, said that the provision of SP2 to traders at stalls JS 25, 26, 30 and 96 was a follow-up to SP 1 which had been issued last week.

They were asked to immediately move to Sentra Fauna and Culinary Lenteng Agung as new relocation sites within the next 7 days.

"In the previous SP1, we gave a deadline of seven days so that traders would want to be relocated to a new location, but it was not heeded," said Dedi, Wednesday, October 15.

Dedi hopes that the provision of SP 2 can make traders finally willing to be relocated, considering that the DKI Provincial Government wants Pasar Barito for the construction of the Pusaka Flag Park.

"Yesterday we were waiting for the building to be completed. Now it's finished, it can be occupied. We ask traders to understand that the government will still provide the best for them," said Dedi.

In giving this SP 2, 60 joint personnel were deployed to help deliver or paste the letter at merchant kiosks.

Head of South Jakarta Satpol PP Nanto Subekti revealed that his party is preparing operational vehicles to help the mobility of traders to move their merchandise.

"We have prepared the vehicle, we just need to coordinate with related elements to transfer it to Lenteng Agung," said Nanto.

It is known that the DKI Provincial Government has started building the Pusaka Flag Park since Friday, August 8, 2025. The arrangement for the merger of Langsat Park, Ayodya Park, and Leuser Park has resulted in the Barito Market traders being relocated to temporary places.

With an area of almost six hectares, this park will be facilitated by bridge connecting bridges (link bridges), jogging tracks, children's playgrounds, multipurpose rooms, and amphitheaters open to art and cultural performances.

Meanwhile, the construction of the Jakarta Fauna and Culinary Centers which is the relocation of traders from the Barito Bird Market in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta is almost complete.
