The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated dozens of land assets belonging to one of the suspects in the extortion case in the management of a plan to use foreign workers or RPTKA at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), Jamal Shodiqin on Monday, October 13. "So in this case the KPK previously also confiscated 26 assets in the land sector. Thus, a total of 44 plots of land have been confiscated located in Karanganyar," he continued.
Dozens of assets, explained Budi, were confiscated because they were suspected of originating from extortion by the suspects.
All of them are said to actually belong to Haryanto as the former Director General of Manpower Placement and Expansion of Job Opportunities (Binapenta and PKK) of the Ministry of Manpower.
"The assets confiscated by JS's brother are assets allegedly managed by JS's brother, H, who is also one of the suspects in this case," he said.
Previously reported, the KPK announced eight suspects in the case of extortion in the processing of foreign workers' permits (TKA) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) for the 2019-2024 period. Two of them were Suhartono and Haryanto who had served as Director General of Manpower Placement and Expansion of Job Opportunities (Binapenta and PKK) of the Ministry of Manpower.
