Nadiem Pretrial Session: Decision Read Today October 13

JAKARTA - The pretrial hearing proposed by former Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Mendikbudristek) Nadiem Makarim regarding the status of his suspect in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of a chromebook laptop entering its final stage.

The South Jakarta District Court (PN) is scheduled to read the verdict on Monday, October 13.

Based on information from the case tracking information system (SIPP) of the South Jakarta District Court, the trial will take place in the main courtroom starting at 13.00 WIB.

The agenda scheduled is the reading of the verdict on the pretrial lawsuit filed by Nadiem against the determination of the suspect and his detention by the Attorney General's Office (AGO).

"Monday, October 13, 2025, at 13.00 to completion, the agenda for reading the verdict, the main courtroom," said the statement stated on the official SIPP website of the South Jakarta District Court.

Previously, Nadiem Makarim was named a suspect by the AGO on Thursday (4/9/2025) in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of a chromebook laptop for schools.

After determining the status of a suspect, Nadiem was detained for 20 days at the Salemba Detention Center at the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office.

Through a pretrial application, Nadiem sued the legality of the determination of the suspect and his detention, arguing that the investigation process was deemed not in accordance with legal procedures.
