JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) held the Jakarta Choose event at the Joseph Le Palais Gallery, Paris, France, on October 8, 2025. Carrying the theme Jakarya Jakarta Towards the Global Stage, this activity is a concrete step for the DKI Provincial Government to encourage leading MSME players to penetrate the international market.
As many as more than 20 business actors were selected as a result of the curation of the DKI Jakarta PPKUKM Office from the fashion, craft, and culinary sectors participated in this event, together with a number of Jakarta BUMDs. Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Rano Karno, officially opened the event with the Indonesian Ambassador to France, Mohamad Oemar. In his remarks, Rano called Choose Jakarta a strategic momentum to bring local products up to class and introduce Jakarta's identity on the world stage.
"Through the Jakarta Choose, we want to show that Jakarta is not only a city of business and government, but also a center of innovation, culture and creative economy.
