KPK Finds Out Forest Management That Ends In Bribery In Inhutani Through Perum Perhutani

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that Perum Perhutani is aware of the practice of bribery related to forest management in forest areas in the Inhutani V neighborhood.

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said this when he was asked about the examination of a number of parties from the state-owned company. One of them is Wahyu Kuncoro, who previously served as President Director of Perum Perhutani.

"In the investigation process, the KPK summoned witnesses who were suspected of knowing about the management in Inhutani," Budi told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, October 8.

Meanwhile, Kuncoro was questioned at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Tuesday, October 7.

In addition, the KPK also summoned Indianto Suhardi as Head of the Legal Department at the Legal and Compliance Division of Perum Perhutani twice on September 20 and October 8.

Finally, the KPK has summoned Natalias Anis Harjanto as the acting (Plt) Director of Perum Perhutani on September 1.

"Are the practices of alleged corruption crimes either with similar modes or other modes also occurring in the forest management," said Budi.

"The summoning of Perum Perhutani is also intended to complete the required information. The KPK will certainly investigate whether these practices in Inhutani V also occur in other areas," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK appointed the Managing Director of PT Inhutani V, Dicky Yuana Rady; Director of PT Paramita Mulia Langgeng (PML), Djunaedi; and Aditya as the licensing staff of SB Group as suspects for alleged bribery permits for the use of forest areas. The determination was made after all three were entangled in a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Wednesday, August 13.

In this silent operation, the KPK confiscated 189 thousand Singapore dollars in cash; IDR 8.5 million; Jeep Rubicon; and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

For his actions, Djunaidi and Aditya as the givers, are suspected of committing acts of corruption as regulated in Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a or b or Article 13 of the Corruption Eradication Law, jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Dicky as the recipient is suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption as regulated in Article 12 letter a or b or Article 11 of the Corruption Eradication Law.
