Pramono Will Reduce Travel From The DKI Provincial Government And Shopping For Food And Drinks Due To The Cut In Transfer Funds

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed that the DKI Provincial Government was forced to make budget efficiency in the 2026 APBD. This is in the aftermath of cutting transfer funds from the central government to Jakarta up to IDR 15 trillion.

Pramono gave an example, the DKI Provincial Government will start reducing official travel activities, shopping for food and beverages, and work or development programs that can still be postponed from being held next year.

"What is clear is that the efficiency matters that are carried out are related, such as official travel, then budgets that are not the main priority. Then also matters related to eating, drinking, and so on," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, October 6.

In addition, the DKI Provincial Government will also look for other solutions to cover the 2026 budget needs from cutting the transfer funds.

One of the targets is an increase in regional income from the private sector, starting from cooperation in development programs to withdrawing compensation funds from building floor coefficients (KLB).

"One of the things I will do is do creative financing. Things that can be said to be built by partnering, cooperation, strategic partners, or from KLB funds, SLF, SP3L, and so on, will still be carried out," said Pramono.

The DPRD and DKI Provincial Government have originally planned the Jakarta APBD next year with a nominal jumbo amount of IDR 95.35 trillion.

From this plan, it is projected that transfer receipts in the form of profit-sharing funds (DBH), general allocation funds (DAU), and special allocation funds (DAK) from the central government in 2026 will reach Rp26 trillion.

However, recently the Ministry of Finance decided to reduce the transfer funds by Rp15 trillion to only Rp11 trillion. Thus, next year's projected DKI APBD will have to be reduced to Rp79.06 trillion.
