Unloading State Losses Reaches IDR 300 T From Illegal Mines, Prabowo Appreciates Law Enforcement

PANGKAL PINANG - President Prabowo Subainto witnessed the handover of assets confiscated by the state from illegal mining to PT Timah in Smelter PT Tinindo Internusa, Pangkal Pinang City, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Monday 6 October.

To reporters, President Prabowo appreciated the work of law enforcers who succeeded in uncovering the case.

The handover of the assets was carried out in stages, starting from the Attorney General to the Deputy Minister of Finance, followed by the CEO of Danantara, and then to the President Director of PT Timah Tbk.

The looted goods handed over include large and diverse assets, including: 108 units of heavy equipment; 99.04 tons of Sn crystalline products (cristalyzer); 94.47 tons of crude tin in 112 maps/beams; 15 bundle aluminum (15.11 tons) and 10 jumbo bags (3.15 tons); Rfe 29 bundle metals (29 tons); employee mess 1 unit; vehicle 53 units; 22 plots of land covering an area of 238,848 m2; 195 units; metal tin 680,687.6 kg; 6 smelter units, as well as cash that has been deposited into the state treasury worth Rp202,701,078,370, USD3,156,053, JPY53,036,000, SGD524,501, EUR765, KRW100,000. , and AUD1,840.

Presiden Prabowo menyebut nilai aset yang berhasil disita dan diberikan mencapai Rp6 hingga Rp7 triliun. Nilai tersebut belum termasuk tanah jarang (rare earth/monasit) yang nilainya bisa jauh lebih besar.

President Prabowo also added that the total state losses due to illegal mining activities in the PT Timah area had reached around 300 trillion rupiah.
