Battalion 521/DY Task Force Strengthens Communication With Jayawijaya Bolakme Residents

WAMENA - Task Force (Satgas) Infantry Battalion 521/DY strengthens communication with residents of Bolakme District, Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Mountains to support security stability in remote areas of Papua.

TNI soldiers from the Battalion 521/DY Task Force in that approach also provided packages of basic materials for residents of Bolakme District, Jayawijaya Regency to meet their daily needs.

Dansatgas Infantry Battalion 521/DY Lt. Col. Inf. Rahadyan Surya Murdata in a statement in Wamena, Saturday said that the activity of increasing social communication was combined with the distribution of basic materials to residents of Bolakme District, Jayawijaya Regency.

"The assistance we provide is packages of basic materials, parcels and this is another form of attention to local residents in the TNI inland assignment area of Papua," he said.

According to him, this activity is also an arena for the TNI to continue to be close to residents so that it can maintain the friendship that has been established so far with residents of Bolakme District.

"This is an effort to build trust and kinship and strengthen relations with residents in the assignment area so that they can jointly maintain the security situation in the interior of Papua," he said.

He explained that his party also continues to improve territorial development to continue to build good relations with Papuans in the interior.

"We want Papuans to support the creation of a good and conducive security situation so that all activities of residents in the interior of Papua can run smoothly," he said.

Meanwhile, community leaders from Bolakme District, Jayawijaya Regency, Endar Tabuni, welcomed the communication activities that were continuously carried out by the TNI Battalion 521/DY.

"We are very grateful to the soldiers of the TNI Task Force Battalion 521 Pos Bolakme who have visited, where they are always present for residents and hopefully TNI soldiers will always be given safety while on duty," he said.
