Pramono Ensures Relocation Of Barito Market Traders Will Soon Be Completed

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo said the construction of a relocation site for Barito Market traders in the Lenteng Agung area was almost complete and traders would be moved as soon as possible.

"Right now, the finalization is for Lenteng Agung. And in Lenteng Agung it is almost finished, it is 95-96 percent," said Pramono in the Cawang area, East Jakarta, Friday, October 3.

He emphasized that after the physical work was completed, the traders were immediately transferred.

He also ensured that all Barito Market traders had agreed to move the location from the start.

"I have asked, if it is finished, yes, it will be moved immediately. And at that time, everything had already agreed to move," said Pramono.

The governor said the new location in Lenteng Agung was very strategic and more organized than Barito.

Access to transportation, according to him, is easier to reach because it is close to train stations.

Pramono explained that one of the important requirements for traders who will occupy a new location is to show a valid identity.

"Anyone who will occupy it must use an ID card," Pramono explained.

The Jakarta Fauna and Culinary Centers will not only function as an animal market, but also as a center for modern fauna and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The center stands on an area of 7,500 square meters. From this area, about 2,000 square meters are allocated to traders who previously occupied the Temporary Location (Loxem) of JS 25, JS 26, JS 30, and JS 96.

Kiosk is divided into three main zones, namely Zone A consisting of 22 culinary kiosks, Zone C and D as many as 74 bird traders' stalls and animal feed, as well as Zone E for parcels and culinary stalls as many as 29 kiosks.

Meanwhile, Zone B which is intended for amphitheaters is still not in process.

In addition to permanent kiosks, the facilities available at the center include parking areas, educational rooms and cultural arts performances, as well as other supporting facilities that support the hygienic, environmentally friendly and comfortable business ecosystem.
