GIANYAR - Ubud Police, Gianyar, Bali, is still conducting an investigation regarding reports of South Korean artist Jeon Hye-bin losing her credit card while traveling on the Island of the Gods.

Ubud Police Chief Kompol I Wayan Putra Antara said his party was still investigating the case.

"Currently, our members are still conducting investigations in the field," said Kompol Putra Antara, Thursday, October 2.

The victim has reported this case to the Ubud Police with her husband with the initials YJ (44).

The incident began on Wednesday (1/10) at around 20.10 WITA, Jeon Hye-bin with her husband and child were walking around and shopping at a shop located in the Ubud Kelod neighborhood, Ubud Village.

At the time he was about to pay for the goods he bought, the victim wanted to use a credit card that was stored in his wallet. It turned out that the wallet in the bag had disappeared.

The victim then received a notification for the use of credit cards via cellphone four times.

It was recorded that the withdrawal of 7,3000 dollars and 500 dollars were recorded in 2 victims' credit cards.

"For this incident, the complainant blocked the credit card and the reporting visa card," he added.

However, previously the reporter or victim YJ last used his credit card and visa when he paid for goods at a clothing store in the Ubud Kelod neighborhood.

"With this incident, the complainant suffered a loss of approximately 8,000 dollars if the rupiah was approximately Rp. 132,700,000. Then, the reporter made a complaint for further processing. The perpetrator is still being investigated," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Gianyar Police, Ipda I Gusti Ngurah Suardita, said that the victim's report was immediately followed up.

"With this report, the Ubud Police have responded to the report, by directly going to the scene and carrying out the investigation process and currently still in the field of work. If there are developments, we will inform you," he said.

Previously, Jeon Hye-bin talked about losing a credit card in Bali through an Instagram story upload.
