The Pasar Rebo Police immediately examined the food provider for the Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG) to investigate the alleged poisoning experienced by 20 students at SDN 01 Gedong, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. This inspection was carried out to ensure the food processing process, starting from raw materials to cooking methods.
"There are five people who have been questioned, including the chef (cook carpentry), the school, and the food delivery attendant," said Pasar Rebo Police Chief AKP I Wayan Wijaya, Tuesday, September 30.
In addition to the chef, the police also examined the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) of the National Nutrition Agency of the Ameena Mulya Indonesia Foundation as the person in charge of the distribution of MBG. Information from the Head of the SPPG was also requested regarding the menu sent on the day of the incident.
According to Wayan, the initial investigation found that there were differences in color, texture, and aroma in the fried noodle menu which were part of the MBG package. There are dried noodles, some are wet, some are even too ripe to cause a smell. We are currently investigating this," he explained.
