Tony Blair Enters Gaza Peace Council: Trump Brings The Best Opportunity To End The War

JAKARTA - Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair welcomed the proposal submitted by US President Donald Trump to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The proposal, which also regulates the Peace Council, is expected to end the war in Gaza permanently.

President Trump has laid out a bold and intelligent plan that, if approved, could end the war, bring aid directly to Gaza, brighter and better future opportunities for his people, while ensuring the absolute and eternal security of Israel and the release of all hostages," Tony Blair said in a statement via the X InstituteGC, Tuesday, September 30.

According to Tony Blair, who is a member of the Proposal Peace Council, it offers the best chance of ending two years of war, misery and suffering.

I thank President Trump for his leadership, determination, and commitment. In particular, his willingness to lead the Peace Council to oversee new Gaza is a signal of enormous support and confidence in Gaza's future, about the possibility of Israel and Palestine finding a path to peace, and about the broader potential of regional and global alliances to fight the power of extremism and promote peace and prosperity between nations," he explained.
