Flush Officers With Chili Water, 5 Prisoners BNN Sumut Escape

MEDAN - A total of five drug prisoners escaped from Rutan BNNP North Sumatra. They fled after dousing the guard with chilli water.

Head of Eradication BNN Sumut, Sempana Sitepu, said the five prisoners who escaped were Marzuki Ahmad, Rahmat Hidayatullah, Muhammad Junaidi, Irwanda and Zulfikar.

They escaped around 12:28 a.m., Sunday, May 16. In his mode, one of the male prisoners from Block B of Room 01 shouted for drinking water.

"The next time the guard would put gallons of water in the cell, suddenly the prisoner from inside poured chili water, into the officer's face and hit his eyes," Sempana said, Monday, May 17.

According to him, it is suspected that the chili water was made prisoners from visitors who visited them. After flushing with chilli water, the prisoner beat up the officer.

"At that time the officers resisted and controlled the door of block B cells so that prisoners did not escape. But the guard was again hit and held and pulled into the cell hallway," Sempana said.

Initially, the escaped prisoners numbered 6 people, but one of the prisoners named Salim Saragih managed to be arrested not far from the location of BNNP Sumut, namely on Balai Pom Street, Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deliserdang Regency.

"Until now BNNP Sumut officers are still conducting searches and pursuits of the five escaped prisoners," Sempana said.
