KPK Keep Confiscated Goods From The House Of The Governor Of West Kalimantan Ria Norsan

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) did not specify the findings obtained after searching a number of places in West Kalimantan, including the house of West Kalimantan Governor Ria Norsan.

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo only said investigators had confiscated evidence related to the alleged corruption in the road construction project in Mempawah Regency.

The investigators visited a number of locations other than Ria Norsan's private house, including the official residence of the Mempawah Regent to the official residence of the Governor of West Kalimantan. Forced efforts were made a week ago.

"Currently we have not been able to convey in detail the items that were secured and confiscated," Budi told reporters, September 29.

Budi said all the evidence found would be analyzed. "To help reveal so that this case becomes clear," he said.

After searching a number of locations, investigators also examined nine witnesses in this case. They are all civil servants (PNS)/Technical Directors of DAK TUD for the 2015 Fiscal Year with the initials SLM, ISB, ABD, MT, MK, FE, AS, SB, and SHR.

"The checkpoint is at the West Kalimantan Police," said Budi.

"Every statement from the witnesses will certainly help the KPK in the process of investigating this case," he continued.

As previously reported, the KPK searched a number of locations to look for evidence of alleged corruption in West Kalimantan Province on Sunday, April 27. The exact position is reported in Mempawah Regency.

In addition, forced efforts were also carried out in the Sanggau and Pontianak areas with a total of 16 locations. Investigators then found electronic evidence and a number of documents related to alleged corruption at the Mempawah District Public Works (PU) Office.

Later, the KPK said that this search was to find evidence of alleged corruption which was investigated using a new investigation letter (sprindik). It is suspected that there were allegations related to the increase in Sekabuk-Sei Sederam Road and the work of improving the Jalan Sekit Rama-Sei Semeram at the Public Works Office of Mempawah Regency for the 2015 Fiscal Year.

There are three suspects who have been named who have not been officially announced by the KPK. However, from the information gathered they are Abdurahman as a civil servant; Lutfi Kaharuddin who is an entrepreneur or President Director of PT Aditama Borneo Prima; and Idy Safriadi as a civil servant of Mempawah Regency.

The three of them are suspected of having caused the state to lose up to Rp40 billion. This amount is said to be changing because the calculation is still being carried out.
