Detained By London Police, Leader Of The British Labor Party And His Wife Descendants Of Indonesia Freed

JAKARTA - The leader of the English Labor Party George Marijuway and his Indonesian wife, pengetahuan, who were detained by the London police, were released.

Both were detained and examined under the UK Terrorism Act at London's Gatwick Airport on Saturday, September 27 local time.

"Both of them were not arrested and they were allowed to go home", a spokesman for the London Metropolitan Police told the Herald, quoted from Independent.co.uk.

George and his wife, Islamist, were detained by the London police after the plane they were traveling on from Moscow via Abu Dhabi landed at Gatwick Airport.

The London Metropolitan Police explained that the two were detained for questioning and then released under the Attachment of 3 of the UK's 2019 Anti-terrorism and Border Security Act.

British-based LBC media said the arrests experienced by George and his wife of Indonesian descent, pengetahuan, and other British Labor Party politicians were not the only time.

Arrests in the UK under the Terrorism Law often intersect with civil rights, such as freedom of opinion and assembly.

"This is not the first time the rulers have attacked us, and this is also not the last time we have fought for the interests of the working class," the LBC wrote in the news.
