JAKARTA The Independent Business and Communication Institute (SWINS) officially won the title of 'Very Good' accreditation from the National Accreditation Agency (BAN-PT). The determination is based on the Decree of the Executive Board of BAN-PT Number 2713/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/PT/IX/2025.

This achievement is an important milestone for SWINS in strengthening its commitment to providing quality education that is relevant to the needs of the times.

Accreditation was obtained after a thorough evaluation by the BAN-PT assessor team consisting of Prof. Dr. Made Sudarma and Prof. Dr. Mite Setiansah. The assessment was carried out on a number of aspects, ranging from the Self Evaluation Report (LED) to the Higher Education Performance Report (LKPT) submitted by SWINS.

"Very Good Accreditation is not only an administrative achievement, but rather an acknowledgment of the cooperation of all academic community. This is the result of the contribution of lecturers, students, education staff, alumni, and industrial partners in building a healthy, inclusive, and impact academic ecosystem," said SWINS Chancellor Muhammad Iqbal in his statement, Friday, September 26.

SWINS students also welcomed this achievement. They considered the recognition from BAN-PT to be a moral boost as well as a guarantee that the learning process on campus had competitiveness and was recognized nationally.

SWINS itself is the result of the merger of the Independent High School of Economic Science (STIE) and the ITKP Communications Science College (STIKOM). This merger is contained in the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 768/E/O/2023 on September 14, 2023.

With a focus on business and communication, SWINS has a vision of becoming a university that produces professional human resources, has noble character, has a global perspective, and is able to encourage the nation's economic progress in 2043.

Through this 'Very Good' accreditation, SWINS hopes to continue to maintain public trust, expand cooperation networks, and create generations that bring positive changes.
