JAKARTA - The polemic of quarantine places for Indonesian citizens who have just come from abroad between the Governor of North Sumatra Edy Rahmayadi and the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution is not a strained relationship.

It was proven that Mayor Bobby Nasution and his wife Kahiyang Ayu visited Governor of North Sumatra Edy Rahmayadi's office. This visit is in the framework of the friendship of Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri.

"Eid Momentum should really be used as an event to strengthen friendship. Therefore, on the second day of Eid al-Fitr, my wife and I @ayanggkahiyang visit Mr. @edy_rahmayadi_ and family at the Governor of North Sumatra's Office", Bobby was quoted as saying from his official Facebook, Monday, May 17.

Bobby said this relationship is done by carrying out strict health protocols. Even this event was attended on a limited basis.

"Because it is still in the condition of the COVID-19 pandemic, the relationship is running very limited and still maintain health protocols", said Bobby.

Bobby Nasusion who is also the son-in-law of President Joko Widodo is hoping, in the future this synergy can be continued. Of course, the goal is to make Medan better.

"Along with this friendship, hopefully, the synergy between the Regional Government of Medan and North Sumatra Provincial Government in the future will be stronger. Let's continue to strengthen friendship and collaboration to create a blessed, advanced, and prosperous Medan City", said Bobby.
