Budi did not elaborate on the findings. "The searches were carried out by investigators to seek clues needed to uncover the alleged corruption case related to the road construction project in Mempawah Regency," he emphasized.
In addition to the searches, investigators also questioned witnesses today, September 26. Nine people were summoned to appear before investigators.
The details are: Dinul Ersha Akbar, Director of PT Rajawali Sakti Kalbar; Head of the Regency's Integrated Service Unit (ULP). As previously reported, the KPK searched several locations for evidence of alleged corruption in West Kalimantan Province on Sunday, April 27. The exact location was reportedly in Mempawah Regency.
In addition, coercive measures were also carried out in the Sanggau and Pontianak areas, totaling 16 locations. Investigators then found electronic evidence and several documents related to alleged corruption at the Mempawah Regency Public Works (PU) Department.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) later stated that the search was conducted to seek evidence of alleged corruption, which was being investigated using a new investigation warrant (sprindik). The alleged corruption involved the improvement of the Sekabuk-Sei Sederam Road and the improvement of the Sebukit Rama-Sei Sederam Road at the Mempawah Regency Public Works Department in the 2015 fiscal year.
Three suspects have been named, but the KPK has not yet officially announced them. However, based on information gathered, they are Abdurahman, a civil servant; Lutfi Kaharuddin, an entrepreneur and President Director of PT Aditama Borneo Prima; and Idy Safriadi, a Mempawah Regency civil servant.
The three are suspected of causing state losses of up to IDR 40 billion. This figure is said to be subject to change as calculations are still underway.
