Titiek Suharto Until 'Speechless' Watching President Prabowo Speech At The UN Session

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees Siti Hediati Hariyadi or Titiek Suharto is proud to see President Prabowo Subianto make a speech at the meeting of the United Nations (UN) assembly. Moreover, it has been almost 10 years since the Indonesian president has been absent from the international forum.

"Proud. Proud, we (Indonesia) can (criminalize the UN trial)," said Titiek at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 24.

The chairman of Commission IV of the DPR could not speak up to hear the speech of the president of the Republic of Indonesia. According to him, this moment was the most eagerly awaited.

"Last night we announced to friends, coincidentally we were visiting North Maluku. So it's nobar until 12 o'clock, wait and okay, what is it speechless," said Titiek.

He considered that Prabowo's speech emphasized Indonesia's consistent position in supporting Palestinian independence.

"Yes, Indonesia's attitude is clear, from ancient times we have always supported the struggle of the Palestinian people," said Titiek.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto delivered his speech entitled "Indonesia's Call for Hope" at the General Debate session at the 80th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), New York, United States, Tuesday, September 23 local time.

President Prabowo delivered the speech with a duration of more than 19 minutes in English, with a third speaking order after Brazilian President Luiz Inwaycio Lula da Silva and United States President Donald Trump.

In his speech, President Prabowo spoke about humanitarian issues that were not only experienced by Palestinians, but also Indonesia, which had been colonized by colonialism for centuries.

President Prabowo also raised the role of the United Nations and other organizations under the auspices of the United Nations which provided assistance to Indonesia while fighting for independence. Prabowo also talked about a two-state solution and invited the world to end the conflict in Gaza.
