Police Say The Murder Of A Wife In Kebon Jeruk Is Motivated By Cheating

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kebon Jeruk Police revealed the motive for the murder that occurred in a house, Jalan Pandan II RT 011 RW 005 South Kedoya, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

The murder suspect with the initials W (55) is the husband of the dead victim with the initials S (49).

"It is suspected that the victim had an affair," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kebon Jeruk Police, AKP Ganda Jaya Sibarani, Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Victim S died with a snare on his neck.

"At the crime scene, a rope was found, we tried to check with the doctor and the results of the doctor's examination. We are still investigating it again," he said.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator with the initials A works for a private company. Meanwhile, victim S, his wife who died as a housewife.

"The victim at the Police Hospital (an autopsy was carried out)," he said.

Previously, residents of Jalan Pandan II RT 011 RW 005 South Kedoya, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta were shocked by the death of a woman with the initials S (49) with an entangled neck condition.

Strong suspicion is that the victim was killed by her husband, W (55) in the house, Tuesday, September 23.
