Tomorrow At 8 PM WIB Prabowo Will Speech At The UN Debate Session

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto will deliver a speech at the General Debate session at the 80th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), New York, United States, Tuesday, September 23 at 09.00 local time or at 20.00 WIB.

This was conveyed by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya when confirmed by ANTARA, Sunday, September 21 local time.

Seskab Teddy said President Prabowo would deliver a speech in third place, after Brazilian President Luiz Injahcio Lula da Silva and United States President Donald Trump.

He emphasized that this year's General Assembly Session is an important momentum for Indonesia.

"In addition to appearing at the highest level of the UN forum, Indonesia will also affirm its role as a global South leader who consistently voice the world governance reform agenda to be fairer and more inclusive," he said.

It is known that President Prabowo Subianto arrived in New York, United States, Saturday (20/9), via Jhon F Kennedy International Airport, with a landing around 16.50 local time.

During a visit to New York, President Prabowo is scheduled to deliver a speech in a general debate session at the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UN). The President is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with a number of world leaders. The Head of State is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. President Prabowo's presence in the international forum affirms Indonesia's commitment to continue to actively contribute to efforts to maintain peace, strengthen global cooperation, and fight for national interests at the world level.

A number of officials accompanied President Prabowo on this visit, including the Indonesian Ambassador to AS Dwisuryo Indroyono Soesilo, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Perkasa Roeslani.
