A Transjakarta bus crashed into a kiosk and a house on Jalan Raya Cakung Station, Pulogebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta this morning.

Head of the Public Relations Department and CSR Transjakarta Ayu Wardhani said this incident occurred at around 05.30 WIB when the service started carrying passengers. The bus is coded SAF 045 with the Steady Safe operator.

"I'm sorry for this incident. It happened on the route of corridor 11 (Pulogebang-Kampung Melayu) near Cakung station. The bus is in service," Ayu told reporters, Friday, September 19.

Ayu ensured that there were no casualties as a result of the Transjakarta bus collision. However, as many as 6 people were declared injured consisting of a driver or bus driver, a resident, and 4 customers.

"All of them have received treatment at Pondok Kopi Hospital, in the assistance of the Steady Safe and Transjakarta teams," said Ayu.

The Transjakarta bus collision incident also occurred on Thursday, September 18. Where, the bus collided with a yellow truck in front of the Tarakan Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Cideng Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta. Fortunately, this incident did not result in passengers being injured.

It is known that the bus is managed by partner operator Steady Safe with bus code SAF 079. This incident occurred at around 05.46 WIB. This bus is passing in Corridor 3 on the Kalideres-National Monument route. On the route to Monas, this bus crosses Jalan Cideng Barat.

Atu said Transjakarta was still coordinating with the police to follow up on the accident. "It is being investigated in more detail," he said.
