Uncle Raped His Nephew When His Parents Go To Work, Actions Revealed Through Mobile Video Recording

JAKARTA The depraved act of JP (36) against his own nephew, NFD (16), was finally exposed. The uncle is known to often have sex with the victim when his parents go to work in the early hours of the morning in the Cilangkap area, East Jakarta.

The perpetrator's actions were revealed after the video recording of the depraved act was sent automatically to the victim's father, DYL's email. The email is connected to the victim's cellphone which the perpetrator used to record the action.

Finding suspicious footage, the victim's father then reported this incident to the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the East Jakarta Metro Police.

"During his actions, the perpetrator recorded the incident. However, the recording was connected to the victim's father's email and was finally exposed," said East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Head, AKP Sri Yatmini, Thursday, September 18.

The case began when the perpetrator often ate at the shop owned by the victim's parents. Because they still have a family relationship with the victim's mother, the perpetrator is allowed to stay at the house.

However, JP took advantage of this opportunity. Around April 2025, when the victim woke up her uncle at 04.30 WIB, the perpetrator instead had sex with the victim.

This situation was repeated, especially when the victim's parents had left for work early. "The victim's mother worked at the shop since 03.00 am, while the victim's father also left for work before dawn," explained AKP Sri.

Using the house where the victim was only left, the perpetrator continued to carry out his depraved act until it was finally exposed.

For his actions, JP was charged with Article 76D in conjunction with Article 81 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection with a maximum threat of 15 years in prison. The sentence was increased by a third because the perpetrator was still the victim's uncle.
