The National Police deployed a K9 team from the K9 Detachment, Sub-Directorate of the Ditpolsatwa Korsabhara Baharkam, in the process of searching for victims of natural disasters in the Nagakeo area, East Nusa Tenggara.

The K9 team that was deployed consisted of six personnel, namely the head of the team, two K9 handlers, two handler protectors, and one K9 paramedic.
Then, two sniffer dogs were also seconded, namely K9 Felicia and K9 Karer, which specialize in cadver detection.
Currently, search efforts are still ongoing intensively. For the time being, sniffer dogs have not found a point where the smell is leading to the victim's whereabouts.
