JAKARTA - The family of the Head of the Bank Branch (Kacab), Mohamad Ilham Pradipta, submitted a request for protection to the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). The reason is, as a measure to anticipate the emergence of threats.

Mohamad Ilham Pradipta is known to be a victim of the kidnapping that led to death.

"For maximum protection, anticipation and mitigation," said Mohamad Ilham Pradipta's family attorney, Boyamin Saiman, to VOI, Thursday, September 18.

However, it was emphasized that so far there has been no threat experienced by the family of Ilham Pradipta. It is known that the family members who apply for protection are their wives and two children.

"Meanwhile, there has been no threat (which was experienced)," said Boyamin.

Deputy Chairperson of LPSK, Susilaningtias, who confirmed the matter, agreed that Ilham Pradipta's family submitted a request for protection. The application was submitted on Tuesday, September 16.

"That's right, yesterday it was submitted to three people from the family," said Susilaningtias.

In the kidnapping case that led to the death, the police have named 16 suspects. One of them is still at large.

In addition, of the dozens of suspects, two of them are members of the TNI. They are Serka N and Kopda F who come from the Kopassus unit.
