JAKARTA - United States (US) President Donald Trump stepped up his threats to radical left groups following the assassination of conservative influencer and loyalist Charlie Kirk.

Without showing the link between the shooting that killed Kirk, Trump and his Republican cadres and members of his government are discussing efforts to classify several groups as domestic terrorists.

Citing AP, Trump also ordered an investigation into alleged extortion and would revoke tax-free status for progressive Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs/NGOs) in the US.

The White House has targeted an initial investigation of its focus on progressive activist NGOs or the Open Society Foundations, founded by George Soros.

"The radical left man has caused tremendous damage to the country," Trump told reporters on Tuesday morning on his way to a state visit to the UK.

"But we're working on fixing it," Trump continued.

Although US government officials under Trump insist that their focus on this is on preventing violence, critics see this as an extension of Trump's retaliatory campaign against his political enemies and erosion of the right to free speech in the US.

The move is also seen as weakening liberal groups potentially changing the political landscape ahead of next year's part-time US general election, which will determine the control of Congress and state parliaments across the US.

Dozens of NGO/NGO leaders, including the Ford Foundation, Omidyar Network, andter Foundation, released a joint letter responding to the Trum Administration's efforts to try to take advantage of anger over Kirk's assassination to suppress political opposition.

"We reject attempts to exploit political violence to discredit our work of either or limit our fundamental freedom," the joint statement said.

"Efforts to silence freedom of opinion, criminalize opposing points of view, and distort and limit charitable donations have undermined our democracy and harmed all Americans," the statement continued.

Left Wing In The Eyes Of The Trump Government

US law enforcement officials have declared Tyler Robinson a suspect in the murder of Charlie Kirk to act alone. The suspect has been threatened with the death penalty on charges of murder in court on Tuesday local time.

However, US Government officials have repeatedly issued statements about the need for broader investigations and penalties regarding Kirk's death.

Meanwhile, US Attorney General Pam Bondi blamed "the radical left wing" for the shooting and said "they would be held accountable."

Separately, a major US Government policy adviser, Stephen Miller, claimed there was an "organized campaign that led to the killing of [Kirk]."

Miller felt after the murder appeared "focused and correct anger." He also promised to "revocation and dismantling this terrorist network" by using "every resource we have."

Miller's statement was delivered during a talk show discussing the assassination of Kirk with US Vice President JD Vance at the White House on Monday this week.

Vance responded by blaming Kirk's murder on "crazy people in the extreme left wing".

"We will crack down on the NGO network that ignites, facilitates, and engages in violence," Vance continued.

When asked for an example of what was discussed in the talks, the White House referred to a demonstration that left police officers and federal agents injured, as well as the distribution of protective glasses and face masks during mass demonstrations protesting against immigration policy crackdowns in Los Angeles, USA.

There are also reports that George Soros' established Indivisible persons are offering reimbursement to people who are holding action at Tesla dealers to challenge Elon Musk's position in the US Government's Department of Efficiency. In that action at a number of points Tesla cars were damaged.

Indivisible leaders say "political violence is democratic cancer". He added that their NGOs were "camed by the far-right community throughout the year."

US NGOs Prepare To Face "Threats"

Trump's potentially high-end action threatens the US radical left group to shake NGOs in the US with efforts to limit their work or freeze federal funding, but a more aggressive proposal to lift tax-free status has never materialized.

Based on media reports, this heated issue made NGOs in the US recruit lawyers and improve the security of their offices and staff.

The atmosphere is heating up after political violence, and organizations fearing it will be an unfair target ensuring that they are ready, said Lisa Gilbert, one of the NGO presidents focused on Trump's Government policy supervisor, Public Citizen.
