Man In Bali Kills Wife Who Has Stroke And Intends To Suicide

DENPASAR - The man with the initials S (48) had the heart to kill his wife with the initials EDY (50) in the boarding house on Jalan Gunung Subur, Gang Mirah, Pemecutan, Denpasar City.

"The victim (his wife) was smothered with a pillow, resulting in death," said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police AKP I Ketut Sukadi, Wednesday, September 17.

The police explained that the perpetrator killed his wife because his wife had been suffering from a stroke since February 2024.

After killing his wife, the perpetrator left the boarding house and bought two floor cleaning liquids and took her into the boarding room.

The perpetrator then mixed the cleaning liquid with a soft drink and then drank it.

But because there was no effect, the perpetrator scratched his wrist with a knife.

Attempts to commit suicide are not true. The perpetrator then went to the police post in Monang-Maning to surrender.

"That the perpetrator is currently still undergoing medical examination at Trijata Hospital, because the perpetrator drank (two floor cleaning fluids). And the perpetrator also slashed his left hand, to be precise at the perpetrator's pulse with the aim of committing suicide," he added.

Perpetrator S was named a suspect for the murder of his own wife.
