Polda Metro Searches 3 People Who Disappeared After The August 2025 Riots

Polda Metro Jaya stated that it had searched and searched for three people who were declared missing after the riots that occurred in the Jakarta area at the end of August 2025.

The three people are not known based on reports or complaints received by the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (KontraS).

"Yes, there are some that are circulating information on social media, that's right. Investigations have been carried out, deepening, investigations, searches," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi quoted Wednesday, September 17.

The search step was carried out even though there were no official reports or complaints received by the police, especially the Polda Metro Jaya.

Ade stated that the deepening and search process was still carried out solely to help and provide family certainty regarding the whereabouts of family members.

"Yes, although no reports have yet been submitted to us, to the complaint post at the complaint post," he said.

Regarding the provisional results of the search process, Ade could not clearly convey it. So far, it was emphasized that his party was still tracing the whereabouts of the three people.

It is known, based on the upload of the official KontraS Instagram account, @kontras_update, the three missing people are Bima Permana Putra, M Farhan Hamid, and Reno Syahputradewo.

For Bima Permana Putra, the last location is in Glodok, West Jakarta and has been reported missing since August 31, 2025.

Then, M Farhan Hamid with the last location was at Mako Brimob, Kwitang, Central Jakarta and has been reported missing since August 31, 2025.

Third, Reno Syahputradewo, who was last identified at the Mako Brimob, Kwitang, Central Jakarta, and has been missing since August 30, 2025.
