JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya revealed the mastermind behind the kidnapping and murder of Bank Head Mohamad Ilham Pradipta Branch Head (Kacab). Suspect C alias Ken is said to be the mastermind behind the transfer of funds from a bangmant account at BRI bank as well as the initiator of the crime plan.

"C alias K has a plan to transfer money from a mortgage account to a holding account that has been prepared," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Wira Satya Triputra, to reporters, Tuesday, September 16.

Wira explained, C alias Ken designed two scenarios to smooth out his actions. The first option threatens the victim and then releases him, while the second option threatens and kills the victim.

"Because previous efforts to approach the head of the branch always fail, the shift in funds is seen as successful if done with two options," he said.

C alias Ken then communicated with suspect DH on August 12 to determine the steps. Although the perpetrators initially chose the first option (force accompanied by threats of violence and then the victim was released), Ilham Pradipta's life continued to be lost.

Ilham was found dead on an empty land in the Cikarang area, West Java, on Thursday, August 21.

Based on CCTV footage, the victim was forced into a white car parked next to his car at Lotte Grosir Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, before being forcibly taken away.

In this case, the police have arrested and named 15 people as suspects. One of them is a member of the TNI with the initials Kopda FH.
