Alleged Murderer Charlie Kirk Arrested, Utah Governor Calls Attack On American Experiments

WASHINGTON The governor of Utah state, Spencer Cox, announced that alleged perpetrator of the shooting of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk has been arrested. The perpetrator was identified as Tyler Robinson, a native of Utah.

"We arrested him," Cox said in a statement quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 13.

Cox insists that Charlie Kirk's assassination is not just an attack on individuals, but rather against the American value foundation.

"This is an attack on all of us. This attack reaches to the basic point of who we are," he said.

According to Cox, preliminary information regarding Robinson was obtained from his family members who informed the authorities that Robinson acknowledged or signaled to be the shooter at Utah Valley University (UVU), the location of the incident on Wednesday (10/9).

The family also said that Robinson has become increasingly active politically in recent years.

In fact, during a family dinner before the incident, he had mentioned Kirk's arrival to UVU and expressed his dislike for the activist's view.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump stated that Robinson's father played an important role in his son's arrest. FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that Robinson was arrested on Thursday at 22.00 local time (Friday 11.00 WIB).

Cox said campus surveillance camera footage showed Robinson present the morning before the shooting.

He was seen wearing a maroon shirt, bright shorts, black hat, and bright shoes. The same outfit when he was arrested.

The Governor of Utah also said investigators found Mauser's 98-caliber axion-grendel rifle. Bullet casings that have been fired with words.

"The releases on the shells fired read 'noices, bulkes, OWO, what's this?'," he said.

While the unfired casings were written "Hey, fascist! Catch!" and followed by arrows facing the top, arrows facing the right, and three arrows facing down.

The second unfired loss was written with the lyrics of the song "Bella Total" which read "Oh, Bella Maria, Bella Maria, Bella Maria, Maria", and a shell when it was also unfired it reads "If you read this, you're gay".
