JAKARTA - Chairman of Indonesian Traditional Fishermen (KNTI), Daeng Tahir urged the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to immediately build a special port for fishermen on the coast of Cilincing, North Jakarta.
"We will ask the DKI Provincial Government with existing stakeholders and construction actors to provide special port opportunities for fishermen," said Daeng Tahir when confirmed, Friday, September 12, 2025.

"Now we will go forward to use the Kalibaru, Cilincing and Marunda (KCM) associations. Earlier we had a meeting (and) agreed (about) special ports for fishermen," he said.
Meanwhile, regarding the objection to KCN's sea concrete, fishermen have not received a response from the central government or local governments.
"This is urgent in nature. The solution requested by fishermen must be carried out immediately. If that is not done, we will make sure that in the future (stupid) will occur," he said.
