JAKARTA - NasDem Party legislator Satori has completed an investigation regarding the alleged corruption of BI Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) today. He was examined in his capacity as a witness even though he was already a suspect.

"The investigation is still related to BI-OJK," Satori told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 11.

Meanwhile, when asked about the car confiscated by the KPK, Satori said the vehicle had nothing to do with the corruption case being handled.

Satori claims the car was his merchandise. He is known to have a showroom for buying and selling cars.

The effort, Satori still claims, was established since he had not been a member of the DPR. (That, red) selling cars, showrooms," he said.

"It was bought since someone before I became a member of the DPR," continued Satori.

The KPK has confiscated 15 cars belonging to Satori on Monday-Tuesday, September 1 and September 2. Forced efforts were made from a number of locations, "part of the showrooms that have been moved to other places," said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, September 2.

Budi then detailed that the confiscated cars were 3 units of Toyota Fortuner, 2 units of Mitsubishi Pajero, 1 unit of Toyota Camry, 2 units of Honda Brio, 2 units of Toyota Innova, 1 unit of Toyota Yaris, 1 unit of Mitsubishi Xpander, 1 unit of Honda HRV, and 1 unit of Toyota Alphard.

Previously reported, the KPK officially announced the legislators of the DPR from the NasDem Party faction, Satori and Heri Gunawan, who are legislators of the DPR from the Gerindra Party faction as suspects in the alleged corruption of BI CSR funds. They are suspected of receiving gratuities and committing money laundering (TPPU).

Satori is suspected of receiving a total of IDR 12.52 billion in this case. The details are IDR 6.30 billion from BI; IDR 5.14 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities; and IDR 1.04 billion from other working partners of Commission XI of the DPR.

The money is allegedly used for personal needs, such as deposits, land purchases, showroom construction, purchases of two-wheeled vehicles, and purchases of other assets.

Meanwhile, Heri Gunawan received a total of Rp15.86 billion and used it also for personal gain. The details are Rp6.26 billion from BI; Rp7.64 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities; and Rp1.94 billion from other working partners of Commission XI DPR.
