JAKARTA - About 4000 visitors visited Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) on the first day of Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri on Thursday, May 13. The number of visitors is likely to continue to grow, because the area operates until 18.00 WIB.

"Until 12.00 pm it has reached 4 thousand", TMII Head of Public Relations Adi Widodo told reporters on Thursday, May 13.

He estimated this number will continue to grow, even reaching 10 thousand visitors. Because, it does not limit visitors who can attend only those with the Identity card of DKI Jakarta.

"For visitors there are from outside DKI because we know, the bridge area there are holders of id cards respectively. There are families, there are working there, there are groups of local residents in Jakarta. Perhaps they are in contact", Widodo said.

He ensured that all visitors who come to the tourist attractions with an area of 146.7 hectares continue to implement health protocols. "We monitor the community accordingly. They use masks and then check the temperature", he said.

For information, during the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri, the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta still allows tourist attractions and shopping centers to operate.

However, tourist attractions and shopping centers will be closed if they are in the red zone of the spread of COVID-19. The closure will be in place until May 16.

During this period tourist attractions and shopping centers are limited to operating hours until 21.00 WIB. This also applies to restaurants, food stalls, cafes, to cinemas.
