JAKARTA - The family of the Diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu), Arya Daru Pangayunan (ADP), submitted a request for protection to the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).

Deputy Chairperson of LPSK, Susilaningtias said there were six family members from Arya Daru Pangayunan who applied for protection.

"Yes, six people have been submitted," said Susilaningtias to VOI, Thursday, September 11.

The reason behind the request was because Arya Daru Pangayunan's family experienced irregularities after the police explained the cause of death.

One of them is a shipment containing certain symbols and cannot be understood.

"Families also convey that there are irregularities regarding parties who send messages through symbols that are not common and not understood," he said.

"In addition, there was also an incident where the natural graves were replaced with flowers," continued Susilaningtias.

The symbol is in the form of a white cyclone in the form of a star, heart, and Cambodian flower sent in an envelope.

Susilaningtias said the request for protection submitted by the Arya Daru Pangayunan family was a chosen step in line with efforts to reveal other facts behind the police's conclusions.

"The point is that families need protection from LPSK to strengthen their families and attorneys to be able to uncover the death of the ADP deceased," he said.

As is known, Arya Daru Pangayunan was found dead in his boarding house in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.

Based on the results of the investigation that was carried out for a long time, the police finally concluded that there was no criminal element or involvement of others behind Arya Daru's death.
