Vice President On Reshuffle: President Prabowo Has Counted Matang

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Gibran Rakabuming Raka stated that the reshuffle or reshuffle of the ministerial structure in the Red and White Cabinet has been carefully calculated by President Prabowo Subianto, including in terms of performance.

Gibran's statement responded to a media crew's question about the dismissal of a number of ministers, as well as the inauguration of a minister by President Prabowo at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, September 8.

"Regarding the reshuffle, these are the steps that are properly calculated carefully by the President from all sides, including performance and others," said Vice President Gibran when giving information after harvesting lobster cultivation at the Aquaculture Center in Batam, Riau Islands, Wednesday, confiscated by Antara.

Gibran explained that the reshuffle was carried out so that public services as government machines could work more optimally.

Therefore, the Vice President also hopes that the ministers and deputy ministers who were just inaugurated on Monday 8 September can show their best performance.

President Prabowo Subianto dismissed a number of ministers in the Red and White Cabinet, namely Sri Mulyani, who previously served as Minister of Finance, Budi Arie Setiadi from the Minister of Cooperatives, and Dito Ariotedjo from his position as Minister of Youth and Sports, Monday, September 8.

Furthermore, President Prabowo inaugurated Purbaya Yudhi Sadives as Minister of Finance, replacing Sri Mulyani Indrawati. Meanwhile, the replacement for the Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo has not yet been announced.

The President also appointed Ferry Juliantono as Minister of Cooperatives and Irfan Yusuf as Minister of Hajj and Umrah along with his Deputy, Dahnil Azhar.

For the position of Head of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI), the President appointed Muktaruddin to replace Abdul Kadir Karding as the previous official.

The entire process of inauguration and appointment of officials is based on Presidential Decree No. 86P 2025 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Ministers and Deputy Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet 2024 2029.
