DKI DPRD Urges Provincial Government To Seal Illegal Parking Operators

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Parking Special Committee (Pansus) of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Jupiter reminded the DKI Provincial Government to seal parking operators who do not have a permit.

Based on data from the DKI Jakarta Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP), there are still many parking operators who do not have permits but are still determined to operate.

"We propose that sealing be carried out immediately. It will be carried out firmly and measurably," said Jupiter, Thursday, September 4.

Jupiter gave an example, there is one parking operator that has 25 parking spaces but only 18 have obtained permits.

The DKI Provincial Government, according to him, needs to take immediate action with several stages. If the parking operator still does not try to take care of the permit, Jupiter asks the DKI Jakarta PMPTSP Office to close the parking location in question.

"We have firmly proposed to immediately UP (Manager-Red) Parking Unit send SP (Warning-Red Letter) 1. Then SP 2 and finally SP 3, said Jupiter.

With this firm action, Jupiter assessed that parking operators no longer dared to carry out illegal levies to embezzle parking taxes.

This is because so far people have paid parking and tax rental rates to managers, but they have not been forwarded to the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda).

"It is not permissible for operators to take public money but do not have a permit," said Jupiter.
