Uya Kuya Cat Who Was Entangled In Masses Was Entrusted To The Jakarta KPKP Service

The cat raced with evidence of loot confiscated by East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim investigators was entrusted to the DKI Jakarta KPKP Office for treatment.

The cat is known to belong to a member of Commission IX DPR RI Surya Utama or Uya Kuya with an estimated price of hundreds of millions.

"It has been deposited at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Food and Agriculture Security Service. Precisely in the Center for Animal and Livestock Health Services," said East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Dicky Fertoffan when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

The cat is currently placed in the Department of Food Security, Maritime Affairs, and Agriculture (KPKP) to make it safer and better maintained.

Kasat explained that the cat was found at the house of one of the perpetrators who was arrested at the time of the looting.

"We secured the cat at the house of one of the perpetrators (imprisonment) that we secured last night. Of course it is in the East Jakarta area," he said.

Until now, the East Jakarta Metro Police are still hunting down several other perpetrators who were involved in the looting of Uya Kuya's house.

"There are several perpetrators that we are pursuing as well," he said.

The police have arrested dozens of people suspected of looting the houses of members of Commission IX DPR RI Surya Utama or Uya Kuya. The majority of the dozens of perpetrators who have been arrested are local residents.

However, the police admitted that they were still looking for the provocateurs of the looting.

"We are still looking for the main provocateur," he said.
