The National Ojol Coalition Withdraws From Anarchic Activities

JAKARTA - The National Ojol Coalition (KON) conveyed its official stance regarding the tragic incident experienced by Affan Kurniawan, an ojol driver who was killed in a Brimob tactical vehicle (Rantis) in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

Chairman of the Presidium KON, Andi Kristiyanto emphasized that his party will continue to oversee the legal process so that the families of the victims get justice.

"Starting the legal process of a tragic incident that claimed the lives of our brothers and sisters on behalf of Affan Kurniawan to get the fairest legal justice for the families of the victims," said Andi Kristiyanto when confirmed, Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

In addition, KON emphasized that it is withdrawing from all forms of anarchic action that have the potential to divide the nation.

"Interesting from every anarchic activity that creates potential for the division of the Indonesian nation," he said.

Andi also emphasized the strict ban on administrators and members of the ojol community affiliated with KON to be involved in anarchic actions.

"Prohibiting every DPP and DPW administrators to members of communities affiliated with the National Ojol Coalition to participate in all forms of anarchist activities (harming organizations, self, and others) both physically and verbally and inciting or inviting others to participate in these activities," he said.

Furthermore, KON calls for all ojol partners to maintain order and conduciveness in the midst of heated situations.

"Every individual, an ojol community affiliated with the National Ojol Coalition, is obliged to maintain conduciveness, security, unity and unity in any situation and condition as a form of manifestation of a society that obeys the law and loves the Indonesian nation and state," he said. .

KON also emphasized that it is not responsible for the actions of individual ojol who still chooses to participate in anarchic actions.

"The National Ojol Coalition is not responsible for all forms of activities carried out personally/individually for the ojol community affiliated with KON if they want to continue to participate in the current anarchist activities, if they fall into legal problems and others," he said.

KON also claimed to have expressed a common attitude with Bjorka and the Abdulrahman Wahid Soko Tunggal Islamic Boarding School led by Gus Nuril.

The chairman of the Coalition, Michael Angelo Langie, said that this coalition was formed to maintain social stability in the midst of rampant riots that occurred due to demonstrations in several regions. All elements of the nation must maintain order and economic sustainability.

"Together with the Indonesian Ojol Coalition, Gus Nuril agreed to participate in creating a calm and cool atmosphere so that the Indonesian economy will return to running as it is. Indonesia is our common home, whatever the challenges are, let's all take care of it," he said.
