Police Name 9 Suspects Of Riot Demonstration In Bali

DENPASAR - The police named nine suspects in a riot demonstration at the Bali Police and the Bali DPRD last weekend.

The Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Ariasandy, said that a total of 169 people were arrested. A total of 160 people were sent home after the examination.

"A total of 160 people have been sent home, a total of 9 people have been investigated. The 9 people were detained (and named suspects)," said Kombes Ariasandy, Tuesday, September 2.

Meanwhile, the suspects were suspected of beating and destroying the Samapta Polresta Denpsar truck. There were also those who looted police shields and tear gas and carried molotoovs.

The perpetrators are known to have the initials MRF (18), MFH (18), MT (25), IYR (18), IKM (19), IPB (18), ATP (20), FIN (20) and ARN (20). Most of the perpetrators are students and some are online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol).

Currently, the nine suspects have been detained by the Bali Police. Meanwhile, 160 people who were released were repatriated on Sunday and Monday, September 1.
