Golkar Politician Reluctant To Comment On The Term Of Deactivation Of DPR Members

JAKARTA - Golkar Party politician Dave Akbarshah Fikarno or Dave Laksono declined to comment further regarding the term deactivation of DPR members who were heavily criticized by the public. The reason is, even though they are inactive as members of the DPR, they still receive salaries.

"I can't answer about that yet," said Dave at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 2.

The members of the DPR who currently have the status of being deactivated by the party include Ahmad Sahroni and Nafa Urbach from NasDem, Adies Kadir from Golkar, and Eko Patrio and Uya Kuya from PAN.

Regarding Adies Kadir, according to Dave, even though he was deactivated as a member of the DPR as well as deputy chairman of the DPR RI, he was still the Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party. Because he said, the two positions were different things.

"Yes, that's a separate thing, right. So if it's Mr. Adies, he remains one of the leaders in Golkar, and still a Golkar cadre," explained Dave.

Meanwhile, regarding the replacement in the chair of the DPR leadership, Dave said it had not been communicated by the general chairman of Golkar.

"I don't know about that. I already have to ask the leadership directly," he said.

When asked about the retirement budget for members of the DPR, Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the DPR asked to be declared to the House of Representatives House of Representatives (BURT).

"It has to be asked to BURT, yes. We will leave everything to BURT, right, we will definitely discuss it with the leadership who went through the process of being discussed with a consultation. So we must return all of that to BURT," he said.

"I am here to represent the aspirations of my people, namely from Indramayu Regency and Cirebon Regency and Cirebon City," concluded Dave.
