JAKARTA - The National Police will carry out a case title process related to the death ofhya, an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol), Affan Kurniawan, as a result of being run over by the Brimob Metro Jaya tactical vehicle, today, Tuesday, September 2.

The case title process was carried out because a criminal element was found based on the results of the examination of witnesses up to seven Brimob members who were involved in the case.

"Based on the facts, the results of the examination will be carried out with a pekara title," said Karo of the National Police Propam Professional Supervision and Development, Brigadier General Agus Wijayanto, to reporters, Monday, September 1.

Meanwhile, the seven Brimob members involved were Kompol Kosmas, Bripka Rohmat, Aipda M. Rohyani, Briptu Danang, First Brigadier Mardin, Baraka Jana Edi, and Baraka Yohanes David.

The process of holding the case is believed to be the basis for the National Police to determine the suspect. Because, in the series of examination processes, criminal elements have been found.

In the implementation of the case title, the National Police also includes external supervisors, namely Kompolnas and Komnas HAM. Even internal supervisors such as Itwasum and so on.

"Then internally in it are Itwasum, Bareskrim, HR, Divkum, Bid Propam Brimob, and later the Div Propam Polri and will be held on Tuesday 2 September," he said.

Regarding the alleged criminal element found in a series of prosecutions, Agus did not clearly elaborate. It is also about the actions of Kompol Kosmas and Bripka Rohmat so that they are categorized as having committed serious violations.

"What kind of action will it be so that Kompol K becomes a suspected violator with a severe category, this material will be included on Wednesday, of course there will be an explanation," said Agus.

Kompol Kosmas and Bripka Rohmat are threatened with dismissal because their actions are categorized as serious violations.

In the series of lands, Kompol Kosmas was in the front passenger seat or next to the driver. Meanwhile, Bripka Rohmat was driving a tactical vehicle (rantis).

Meanwhile, the other five Brimob members are included in the category of moderate violation. They are Aipda M. Rohyani, Brigadier Danang, First Brigadier Mardin, Baraka Jana Edi, and Baraka Yohanes David.
