JAKARTA - Istora Mandiri Station has resumed operations so that all services have returned to normal, after demonstrations in a number of capital areas on Friday, August 29, Saturday, August 30, 2025 until early Sunday.

"All MRT Jakarta stations continue to serve passengers including Istora Mandiri Station, and have been operating again. However, only opening Entrance B and Entrance Lifts in front of the IDX Building," said Acting Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Ahmad Pratomo to reporters in Jakarta, Sunday.

Ahmad stated that the operational pattern has returned to normal with the operation service across the Lebak Bulus Grab MRT Station with an interval of 10 minutes of departure (headway).

MRT Jakarta's operational time will start at 05.00 a.m. local time as usual.

Thus, MRT Jakarta is always committed to providing excellent service for all users.

"We invite the public to continue using the Jakarta MRT as the mode of transportation of choice, as well as for the latest information regarding the Jakarta MRT to be checked through the official MRT Jakarta social media channel," he said.

Previously, the masses burned the Transjakarta Polda Metro Jaya bus stop during a demonstration on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, South Jakarta, Friday (29/8) at around 21.00 WIB.

In addition to burning Transjakarta bus stops, they also damaged the entrance to Istora Mandiri Station.

Deputy Governor of Jakarta Rano Karno said that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will free the Transjakarta and MRT service rates for a week, as well as make improvements to the bus stops that were damaged during a series of demonstrations.
