Police Prepare To Reverse Lalin Engineering, Security Of Tourist Attractions Tightened

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of The Metro Jaya Police Department prepared two schemes to anticipate congestion on the backflow of Eid holidays. Contra flow and one way schemes will be implemented.

"Anticipation of the backflow we have prepared scenarios both contra flow and one way nature," Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo told reporters, Tuesday, May 11.

For contra flow scenarios, continued Sambodo, will apply situational. This means that if the volume of the vehicle starts to be monitored solidly, then this scenario is applied.

"Contra flow later we see if it needs to be opened from KM 65 to KM 42 or can be extended to KM 28 or can be extended in KM 5. So along 60 KM," said Sambodo.

Meanwhile, for one way scheme, it will only be applied if contra flow scheme does not run properly. The application of lalin engineering has been coordinated with the Police Korlantas and Polda.

"If it does not help also of course on coordination with the Korlantas then we will carry out one way. Usually starting from Cikampek toll road to Jakarta or maybe even from Kalikangkung, Semarang like two years ago. Of course this is based on the attention of the police korlantas order," said Sambodo.

Meanwhile, on May 13 and 14 or during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, a number of personnel have also been alerted in all tourist attractions in Jakarta. The goal is to limit the number of visitors according to the conditions.

"Polda Metro Jaya has prepared security at tourist attractions with the provisions of tourist attractions 30 percent of visitors, online ticket purchases and only limited to 30 percent," he said.

On the other hand, officers from the Traffic Unit will also be involved. They will be on guard at access points to tourist attractions.
